Job summary

UGL Pty Limited seeks an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join the site team in Pinjarra, WA. The role offers attractive rates, site uplift, and travel allowance with a 5/2 roster and daily DIDO to Pinjarra.

Candidates must hold a WA Grade A Electrical Licence, have site experience, and be able to work safely with confined spaces and at heights. LVR/CPR within 12 months and HRWL (WP/LF) are desirable.

Qualifications

• WA Grade A Electrical Licence is required and LVR/CPR must be current within 12 months.
• Site experience is mandatory for this role.
• HRWL (WP/LF) is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Inspect, test, and repair control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance to meet safety and operational standards.
• Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime and optimize turbine performance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

• WA Grade A Electrical Licence
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (Within 2 Years with 6 months validity)
• LVR and CPR within 12 months
• HRWL (WP, LF - Desirable)
• Site experience mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems
• Inspect, test, and repair control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments
