Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Dongara, WA, is seeking an E&I Supervisor on a 2:2 roster. Based in Dongara with point of hire in Perth, this role leads E&I activities in an LNG/Oil & Gas environment, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and compliance.

You will supervise E&I Technicians and Electricians, maintain schedules, allocate resources, liaise with operations and project teams, and uphold documentation standards on brownfield works under 12-hour shift days.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an E&I Supervisor in LNG/Oil & Gas environments (2–5 years).
  • WA Electrical Licence held and current.
  • EEHA certification held and up to date.
  • Cert IV Instrumentation completed.
  • Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy; able to use planning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and lead a team of E&I Technicians and Electricians in project tasks.
  • Enforce safety culture and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure work quality meets project standards.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for electrical activities and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Allocate resources, equipment and materials to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and client representatives to address challenges.
  • Proactively solve issues and document HV activities including reports.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and 2:2 roster adherence.

Job description

UGL is seeking a E&I Supervisor to join the team on an ongoing 2:2 Roster. This position will be based in Dongara, WA. Point of hire is Perth, WA. This role is critical to the safe execution of brownfield works, requiring strong planning, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage interfaces with operations, maintenance, and project teams. You will provide frontline leadership across electrical and instrumentation (E&I) activities, coordinating work within an operational plant environment while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and compliance objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I Technicians and Electricians to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HV activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
  • 2:2 roster
  • 12-hour days (per full shift worked)
About you
  • Proven experience as a E&I Supervisor within LNG / Oil & Gas environments (2-5 years)
  • WA Electrical Licence
  • EEHA
  • Cert IV Instrumentation
  • Strong hands-on experience with E&I Planning & Execution
  • Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural discipline
