Qualifications

• Current Nursing and Midwifery Registration with AHPRA (essential).
• At least four years’ relevant experience as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse (essential).
• Post graduate qualifications or relevant experience in triage, critical care and emergency settings (desirable).
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care and teamwork.
• Commitment to professional development and quality improvement.
• Evidence of Police Check and Working with Children Check; vaccination status per health orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Emergency Department for obstetric, antenatal, postnatal, and neonate patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centred care.
• Prioritise and triage patients and contribute to achieving NEAT targets.
• Maintain reliable documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines.
