Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated dual qualified Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife to join the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg. You will work in a busy ED providing patient-centered care to women across early pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal periods, and neonatal care up to 2 weeks old.

We require current RN/Midwife registration with AHPRA, a minimum of four years' experience in the field, and a collaborative, flexible approach within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing and Midwifery Registration with AHPRA (essential).
• At least four years' relevant experience as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse (essential).
• Postgraduate qualifications or relevant experience in triage, critical care and emergency settings (desirable).
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to professional development and quality improvement.
• Willingness to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check.
