Brumby is seeking 2–3 ambitious university students for a two-week, fully on-site paid internship in the Whitsundays, North Queensland. You will join a small, highly technical team building autonomous drones and assist with assembling mechanical systems and hardware for deployment.

You’ll work directly with Brumby’s engineers, gaining real hands-on experience, tackling a steep learning curve, and building hardware ready for the field.

Qualifications

• Currently studying at university, ideally engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on aptitude with tools and mechanical assembly.
• Willingness to work hard, learn quickly, and perform under hands-on conditions.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and prepare hardware for the next generation of drone infrastructure.
• Assist with mechanical assemblies, fittings, and integration of components.
• Help with wiring, electronics integration, and general hardware assembly.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support assembly process improvements.
• Participate in quality checks and final product preparation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver hardware to field.
