Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Driver / Store Worker to support the Toys 'n' Tucker program at our Minchinbury facility. This seasonal, hands-on role involves collecting, sorting and distributing donated food and gifts to families in need.

You will work both independently and with a supportive team, ensuring hampers and gifts are prepared and delivered safely and on time while upholding our values of integrity, compassion and excellence.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Class C Driver Licence with a good driving record.
• Physical ability to safely undertake manual handling and operational requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport donated food, toys and other goods to support Toys 'n' Tucker program.
• Assist with sorting, organising and preparing donations for distribution to families in need.
• Load, unload and handle donated goods safely and efficiently.
• Support warehouse and distribution activities to ensure donations are processed and delivered on time.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers while maintaining a safe, organised and positive working environment.

Based at our Minchinbury facility, you'll help ensure these generous donations reach the people who need them, making a meaningful difference during the festive season.

Your opportunity

This is a rewarding, hands-on opportunity to join our Toys 'n' Tucker team during one of the busiest and most meaningful times of the year.

You'll support the collection, sorting, handling and distribution of donated food, toys and other goods, helping ensure Christmas hampers and gifts are prepared and delivered efficiently.

Working both independently and alongside a supportive team, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of the program while treating every donation with care and respect.
