Job summary

Middys Electrical is seeking a reliable Driver to join our branch team in Victoria. You will deliver customer orders safely, assist with stock handling and day-to-day branch operations, acting as a crucial link between customers, the branch and suppliers.

In this hands-on role, you will load/unload, process orders, handle paperwork and support a professional service mindset. A valid forklift licence is advantageous, with a full-time permanent position and competitive benefits on offer.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled delivery runs safely, efficiently and on time.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
• Process, pack and prepare customer orders for delivery and collection.
• Receive, check and receipt incoming goods accurately against paperwork.
• Ensure goods are checked before leaving the branch.
• Complete delivery paperwork, maintain records and obtain customer signatures.
• Manage customer delivery and pickup requirements and provide professional service.
• Assist customers with enquiries and support customer credits for returned products.
• Return defective, oversupplied or incorrectly delivered goods to suppliers.
• Assist with organising and maintaining the branch store.
• Work collaboratively with branch staff to support efficient daily operations.
• Maintain accurate information within branch systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve work practices and processes.
• Follow company policies, procedures, relevant regulations and QHSE requirements.
