Job summary

K&S Freighters in Truganina, Victoria, seeks an experienced Driver Trainer for Chemtrans. The role is ~60/40 training vs. driving, delivering inductions, competency assessments, and sign-offs while staying connected to day-to-day operations.

You will hold a Current MC licence, BFM certification, and strong IT skills, with capability to assist drivers on IVMS and inductions; TAE40122 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver driver training and inductions.
• Competency assessments and sign-offs per standards.
• Strong knowledge of safety requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver driver training, inductions, competency assessments and sign-offs.
• Conduct driver observations, audits and assessments for safe driving.
• Support driver recruitment, onboarding and development programs.
• Promote NHVR compliance, fatigue and mass management, and dangerous goods rules.
• Undertake driving duties when not training, including dangerous goods transport.
