Cairns Hardware is seeking a proactive Scheduler/Driver to join our Logistics team in Cairns. The role involves coordinating inventory movements between the warehouse and customers, delivering orders as scheduled, and upholding strict safety standards on site.

Applicants should have strong planning, time management, and administrative abilities, with licences such as forklift and HR preferred. This is a fulltime on-site position with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.

We are looking for an energetic, organised person to join our Logistics team as a Scheduler/Driver.

This role requires someone with a professional can-do attitude who can work with minimal supervision and be willing to contribute positively to a team environment where no two days will be the same.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Planning and scheduling inventory movements between the warehouse and our customers
• Ensure quality control with orders are filled correctly
• Document and process outgoing and incoming shipments of finished goods and/or raw materials
• Conduct customer deliveries as required and according to schedules
• High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Ability to manage warehouse inventory and implement best practice
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong administration and computer skills
• Physically fit with the ability to safely and appropriately manual handle goods
• Open car license (Essential)
• Heavy Rigid Truck Licence (HR) (Preferred)
• Forklift Licence (LF) (Preferred)
• Dogging License (Preferred)
• Crane Ticket (Preferred)
• Construction White Card (Preferred)
