Job summary

RAC WA in Western Australia is seeking a Driver Trainer to join our Community Impact team. You will coordinate and deliver a range of community education initiatives, with a strong focus on driver training and road safety across WA, including Tow Safe caravan safety sessions and TEEN driver programs.

You’ll facilitate workshops, training sessions and presentations, support logistics, engage with participants and stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing program improvements and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering education sessions, training, workshops or community presentations.
• Experience coordinating programs, events or community initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Confidence adapting your communication style to suit different audiences.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
• A qualification in driver training, education, community engagement or a related field is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging road safety and driver education presentations, workshops and training sessions.
• Coordinating the logistics and delivery of community education initiatives.
• Providing practical instruction and guidance to individuals and groups.
• Building strong relationships with participants, venues, trainers and other stakeholders.
• Assisting with program administration, reporting and participant feedback.
• Supporting the ongoing development and evaluation of community education programs.
• Ensuring learning environments are safe, professional and well-prepared.
