Job summary

Cleanaway in Brooklyn, Victoria is seeking a Hard Waste Driver to join a small crew. You will operate a rear lift truck, perform loading and unloading, and assist with daily vehicle checks.

This permanent role starts at 5:30am, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities and a focus on safety and customer service. The ideal candidate is physically fit, has an unrestricted HR Licence, and takes pride in vehicle presentation and teamwork.

• Strong commitment to safety and Clean Driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rear Lift truck for Bulk Waste Collection.
• Manual loading and unloading truck as part of a small team.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Keep vehicle presentation clean inside and out.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Brooklyn depot, you will operate a rear lift truck while working in a small crew to complete hard waste collections, with a mix of driving and hands on loading.

• Safe operation of Rear Lift company vehicles and equipment for Bulk Waste Collection
• Manually loading and unloading truck working in a small team
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• An unrestricted HR Licence as a minimum
• Physically fit and willing to work as part of a team.
• A professional presentation and manner with great communication
• Good team attitude, reliable and willing to learn.
• A strong commitment to safety and Clean Driving record
