Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Hook Lift Driver for a permanent full-time role based at Morningside, QLD. You will perform waste collection and operate a company vehicle across the region, with a start time around 5am and potential overtime.

Must hold an unrestricted HR Licence with at least 12 months driving experience; waste industry experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided. Join a momentum-driven team with long-term career potential.

• $36.22 per hour + Penalties for overtime


• Thursday to Monday or Sunday to Thursday 5AM start with opportunity for overtime

The Opportunity

Based out of our Morningside QLD depot in Brisbane, we are seeking experienced Hook Lift Driver for full-time work, performing essential services throughout the region

You will be responsible for:

• Providing waste collection services and operating a company vehicle


• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities


• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction


• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• Hold an unrestricted HR Licence with at least 12 months driving experience


• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential as we’ll support the right person to learn


• A collaborative team player who can also work independently.


• Presentable, professional, and customer-focused.


• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.
