Job summary

Northline is seeking an experienced HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator for our Townsville team. You will handle local pickups and deliveries, safely load and unload freight, and maintain tidy yard areas while working in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a current Forklift Licence and ideally an HR/MR Driver’s Licence, with strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a small team.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Hold a current HR or MR Driver’s Licence – highly advantageous.
• Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kg.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Local pickup and delivery in the Townsville metro area using company owned vehicle.
• Loading and unloading a range of general, over-sized, blended and long length freight on trailers and containers.
• Ensure yard/working areas are kept organised and tidy.

Northline are on the lookout for a HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator to join our Townsville team for AM and PM shift. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. If you enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

As an experienced HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for local pickup and deliveries in the metro area as well as the safe and efficient loading and unloading of PUD, linehaul and containers with a variety of freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local pickup and delivery in the Townsville metro area using company owned vehicle;
• Loading and unloading a range of general, over-sized, blended and long length interstate freight on mezzanine floor trailers, linehaul trailers, local vehicles and containers.
• Ensure yard/working areas are kept organised and tidy.

As a successful candidate you will:

• Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF) - Required;
• Hold a current HR or MR Driver’s Licence – Highly advantageous;
• Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs;
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
