Job summary

Brandon Hire Station, part of Vp plc, is seeking a Driver/Branch Assistant in Croydon. You will deliver and collect equipment, then return to the branch to join the team and support customers.

This role emphasises excellent customer service on the open road and in-branch, requires multi-drop driving experience and a full UK driving license, and a willingness to learn how our machinery works. You’ll help keep equipment safe, tidy, and ready for use while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Multi-drop driving experience is required with good knowledge of the area.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.
• Interest in machinery; basic knowledge of equipment and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all deliveries and collections as allocated by your line manager.
• Provide clear and confident demonstration of equipment to customers when required.
• Display professional customer service on site and while driving the company vehicle.
• Ensure all equipment is stored safely and correctly in branch and in transit.
• Assist with other ad hoc duties within the branch.
