Job summary

Coates in Singleton / Muswellbrook is seeking a hands-on delivery driver to join our team. You'll be responsible for safe, professional and timely delivery and pick up of equipment to and from diverse site locations, with a Monday–Friday roster and 7am start.

You’ll operate tilt trays and handling equipment, secure loads, and maintain a safe yard and storage knowledge. A valid heavy vehicle license and commitment to safety are essential, with training and career progression on offer.

Qualifications

• A valid heavy vehicle driver's license.
• Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint.
• A clean driving record and a commitment to safety - you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
• Adequate technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
• Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
• Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts
• Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard

This role, based out of our Singleton / Muswellbrook branch is often the face of Coates and requires exceptional customer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.
