Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a HR Driver to commence immediately in Mt Isa. This is a Full Time Permanent Role, Monday to Friday, with a location allowance added to the base hourly rate.

You will be responsible for completing deliveries and pickups promptly, maintaining safety and WHS practices, and performing pre-start checks on your vehicle. Overtime is available as needed. The company emphasises safety, tidy yards, and compliance with hazard reporting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current HR license (or higher).
• Demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
• Ability to complete deliveries and pickups within set time frames.
• Able to perform vehicle pre-start checks and maintain clean, safe vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and pickups promptly and according to time frames.
• Restrain loads safely using straps and chains where required.
• Keep trucks and yard area tidy and well-maintained.
• Follow company procedures including hazard, near miss and incident reporting.
• Maintain a safe and compliant driving approach at all times.

The successful applicant will receive a location allowance in addition to the base hourly rate.

Overtime will be offered on a need by need basis

Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames

You must hold a current HR license (or higher).

Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently

Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes

Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required

Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy

Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks
