Job summary

Team Global Express in Rockhampton is seeking an experienced HR Driver for a permanent full‑time role. You will deliver beverage products across the region, operate a HR truck and forklift, and ensure safety and accurate paperwork.

This role requires fitness, reliability, and the ability to manage daily delivery schedules. You must hold an unrestricted HR Licence and full working rights in Australia, with a commitment to professional customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• A current and unrestricted HR Licence is required.
• Previous delivery driving or freight experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and certification are preferred.
• A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with safety focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating an HR truck to complete multi‑drop deliveries.
• Loading, sorting and preparing freight for daily delivery runs.
• Operating a forklift to load and unload freight as required.
• Completing deliveries to various customer locations across the region.
• Performing regular manual unloading of beverage products at customer sites.
• Maintaining delivery documentation and completing required paperwork.
• Reporting hazards and incidents in line with company procedures.
• Providing professional and courteous customer service at all times.

Job description

Team Global Express is currently seeking a qualified and reliable HR Driver to join our Rockhampton team on a Permanent Full Time basis.

Working in partnership with one of our major customers, this role involves the delivery of beverage products to a variety of customer locations throughout the region.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, a high level of fitness and a commitment to safety. A current Forklift Licence is essential, as the successful applicant will be responsible for loading, sorting and preparing freight for daily delivery runs in addition to completing deliveries.

The position operates Monday to Friday. Additional overtime may be available, including occasional Saturday work during peak periods.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operating a HR truck to complete multi-drop deliveries
• Loading, sorting and preparing freight for daily delivery runs
• Operating a forklift to load and unload freight as required
• Completing deliveries to a variety of customer locations across the region
• Performing regular manual unloading of beverage products at customer sites
• Handling a high volume of freight and physical delivery tasks throughout the day
• Conducting vehicle and equipment pre-start inspections
• Maintaining delivery documentation and completing required paperwork
• Following company policies, procedures and safety requirements
• Reporting hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with company procedures
• Providing professional and courteous customer service at all times

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a delivery driving, transport or freight environment
• Experience operating a forklift within a warehouse, transport or distribution setting
• A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform frequent manual handling throughout the day
