Job summary

Cheaper Buy Miles is hiring for a part-time to permanent warehouse role in Melbourne. You will load/unload trucks, pick and pack orders, and deliver to stores while using iPads and warehouse tech. A forklift licence is essential and candidates must be available Saturdays. Safe work practices and inventory accuracy are key.

Hours are 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM on weekdays, with Saturday shifts possible. Casual to permanent opportunities exist for the right applicant.

CHEAPER BUY MILES is a fast-growing grocery business fighting food waste every day and we need help! Due to our exponential growth, expanding store placements, and the urgent need to fight food waste and help save the planet. We are looking for driven warehouse workers who can support our warehouse with pick/packing orders fast, deliver orders to stores safely, and most importantly, have fun doing it.*Casual to permanent opportunities to the right applicant.

Hours: Weekday - 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (depending on business needs)

Saturday - 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (depending on business needs)

Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off (rotating)

Hourly Rates :

From $35.96 per hour (weekdays), $50.35 per hour (Saturdays)

Applicants must be have Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid Licence

Applicants must be available to work every Saturday.

Duties include:

Loading and unloading trucks both inbound and out bound

Delivering orders to our stores

Maintain a safe workplace and following safety procedures

Using iPads and other technology

When not driving other duties include:

Picking and packing stock for individual stores

Shrink wrapping pallets

Manual lifting of cartons 20kgs

Opportunities to work in chiller and freezer environments

Performing inventory counts and maintaining accuracy on all records

Other general warehouse tasks including cleaning, organizing the warehouse

Preparing store orders using a stock tugger

Other qualifications include:

Forklift Licence is essential.

Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy or bulky items.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with common software.
