Job summary

Sunshine Smallgoods Pty Ltd is seeking a Hybrid Picker & Delivery Driver in Caboolture. Responsibilities include accurate picking, packing and timely delivery of foodservice orders.

Role suits active individuals with forklift and driving capability, in a refrigerated environment, with early 4:00am starts and potential overtime. Initial training period is at Caboolture/Kunda Park; positions available as full-time, part-time or casual.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with ability to lift and handle products.
• Willing to work early starts (4:00am).
• Experience in foodservice distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Check products, quantities and order details before dispatch.
• Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.

Hybrid Picker & Delivery Driver

Location: Caboolture with initial 3-month training period at Kunda Park
Employment Type: [Full-time / Part-time / Casual]
Hours: Monday to Friday (4am to 12pm) with the potential of overtime Saturday shifts

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Hybrid Picker & Delivery Driver to join our busy foodservice team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in getting the job done right, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

About the Role

As a Hybrid Picker & Delivery Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer foodservice orders accurately and efficiently.
• Check products, quantities and order details before dispatch.
• Safely load and unload delivery vehicles
• Complete multi-drop deliveries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Follow food safety, workplace health and safety procedures.
• Keep the warehouse, loading areas and vehicle clean and organised.
• Handle products in a refrigerated environment for extended periods.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• 4:00am starts are an essential part of the role.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting and being on your feet.
• Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment.
• A safe and responsible driver with a current QLD drivers licence (C / MR)
• Forklift licence

Previous warehouse, order picking, delivery driving or foodservice experience is highly regarded, but training will be provided for the right person.

Please note that this role involves:

• 4:00am starts, so reliable transport and the ability to consistently arrive on time are essential.
• Regular work in refrigerated areas.
• Manual handling with extended periods of standing, walking and driving.
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
