Job summary

ARN is seeking a Drive Show Co-host for 91.1 Hot FM on the Sunshine Coast. You will join Nugget to create entertaining experiences for listeners that extend beyond the airwaves, engaging communities and events with audience-first content.

You’ll help shape on-air and digital content, connect with a diverse audience, and bring personality to live broadcasts. A permanent role with opportunities across ARN’s learning programs and events awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with a diverse audience across the Sunshine Coast to create great content and live and local radio.
• A fun, relatable and authentic communicator who creates content people genuinely connect with.
• Experience with panel operation, playout systems (Zetta) and voice tracking is an advantage.
• Experience in social media, content creation and/or audio production is highly regarded (some imaging and commercial production is required).

Responsibilities

• Co-host a live and local Drive show on 91.1 Hot FM, entertaining listeners and delivering engaging content.
• Shaping content across on-air, social and digital platforms and representing Hot FM at events and promotions.
• Build genuine connections with Sunshine Coast listeners and the community they call home.
• Collaborate with the Nugget on air team to create audience-first experiences beyond the studio.

We're on the hunt for our next Drive Show Co-host to join Nugget on 91.1 Hot FM to create entertaining experiences for our listeners that extend beyond the airwaves and into the community.

About the opportunity:

91.1 Hot FM is the hit music station for the Sunshine Coast, proudly delivering live and local content that entertains, informs and connects with our audience.

Join Nugget every weekday from 3pm as you entertain Sunshine Coast listeners with the biggest hits and best throwbacks, local, national and international stories, real conversations and plenty of laughs on the drive home.

Whether our listeners are heading home from the office, finishing a day on the tools, leaving the beach or picking up the kids from school, they'll be doing it with a laugh.

We're looking for someone who can bring personality, creativity and fresh ideas to the show while building genuine connections with Sunshine Coast listeners and the community they call home.

You'll play an active role in shaping content across on-air, social and digital platforms, representing 91.1 Hot FM at events, outside broadcasts and promotions. From the studio to the community, you'll create entertaining, audience-first experiences that extend beyond the airwaves and help make the Drive show part of listeners' daily lives.

About you:
