Job summary

DDH1 Drilling is offering an entry-level Traineeship for Offsider positions across WA, with FIFO from Perth. You will gain a fully funded Certificate II in Drilling Operations and be paid while you train. Roster options: 2:1 or 4:2, site and client dependent.

No prior industry experience required. You must hold a valid HR-B driver's licence or be willing to obtain it, pass police clearance, medical and drug/alcohol screening, and have First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of long shifts in remote environments.
• Demonstrates safety-conscious mindset and reliable work ethic.
• Works well in a team and follows site protocols.
• No prior industry experience required for traineeship.

Responsibilities

• Mobilise the rig between setups.
• Handle core – extract, box and label.
• Handle drilling rods and core tubes.
• Mix and monitor drill fluid additives.
• Clean equipment and keep the site tidy.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
