Job summary

Wallis Drilling in Western Australia is seeking entry-level and experienced Drillers Offsiders to join our surface rigs. You will work a 2/1 roster and support the Driller while learning on the job and contributing to safe, efficient operations.

This role requires physical fitness, a current WA C Class license, and unrestricted working rights; pre-employment checks apply. Immediate starts available for motivated candidates ready to build a mining career.

Qualifications

• Current Australian C Class driver’s licence (no P plates)
• Full unrestricted working rights
• Physically fit, healthy, and ready for demanding work
• Must reside in Western Australia (WA)
• Current National Police Clearance
• HR driver’s licence (or working toward it)
• Pre-employment medical & ongoing drug/alcohol screening required

Responsibilities

• Heavy lifting and labouring to support drill rig operation
• Assisting with rig movement, setup, and daily tasks
• Conducting equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Mixing drilling fluids and materials
• Working long days outdoors in heat, dust, and mud

What You’ll Do

As a Drillers Offsider, you’ll be the Driller’s right hand—learning the trade on the job while keeping the rig operating smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Heavy lifting and labouring to support drill rig operation

Assisting with rig movement, setup, and daily tasks

Conducting equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Mixing drilling fluids and materials

Working long days outdoors in heat, dust, and mud
