Job summary

Ausdrill, part of the Perenti Group, invites applications for a Drill Fitter on a major Gruyere Gold Mine project in Western Australia. This FIFO-from-Perth role offers a 2:1, 2:2 or 8:6 roster and involves maintaining a modern drill fleet in a remote, production environment.

You will service and fault-find across Epiroc, Pantera and Rock Commander rigs, working with drillers to maximise fleet reliability while upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hold a current and valid Australian HC licence.
• Experience as a Drill Fitter on drill rigs in open pit environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability on hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in a remote FIFO environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing faults across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime.
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards at all times.
• Working closely with drillers and supervisors to ensure fleet reliability.
