Job summary

Seymour College is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our Performing Arts team in South Australia. This permanent position offers flexibility between 0.6 to 1.0 FTE, dependant on second teaching area, and will involve teaching Drama across the Middle and Senior Years.

Commencing in Term 1, 2027, the successful applicant will deliver engaging Drama programs across Years 7-12, inspiring students to develop creativity, communication, collaboration and performance skills.

Qualifications

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
  • Experience teaching Drama across middle and/or senior years.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
  • Collaborative approach and commitment to professional learning and growth.
  • Understanding of adolescent girls' educational and wellbeing needs.

Responsibilities
