Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is seeking experienced Drainlayers and Drainage Workers for civil infrastructure projects across Canterbury’s districts. If you’re a Registered Drainlayer or a drainage professional ready to advance your career, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll join crews delivering essential drainage works, including stormwater, wastewater and reticulation systems, with opportunities for ongoing training, registration support, and long-term career growth on high‑quality projects.

Qualifications

• Proven drainage experience within civil construction.
• Strong health and safety understanding.
• Reliable, team-focused attitude and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install stormwater, wastewater and water reticulation systems.
• Lay concrete and PVC pipelines.
• Construct manholes, sumps and drainage structures.
• Read plans and work to grades.
• Excavate and trench works; operate civil plant as needed.
