Ferrovial is seeking a motivated Drainage Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join the I-24 Southeast Choice Lanes Project in Nashville, Tennessee, one of the largest transportation infrastructure projects in U.S. history and Tennessee's first transportation P3 project.

The selected candidate will support the development and management of the project's hydrologic, hydraulic, and drainage design, working alongside experienced engineers on complex transportation and water engineering challenges.

Formación

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a US college or university.
• 0-2 years of experience in water resources or roadway drainage design.
• Registered E.I.T preferred; must obtain PE registration.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, Geopak drainage and StormCAD; HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8.
• Demonstrated leadership, reading/interpreting drawings, and strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform drainage designs and plan production of complex highways
• Design checks by consultants and subconsultants to Ferrovial
• Contribute to design optimizations
• Study applicable specifications for plans
• Estimate quantities and perform quality checks with consultants
• Support workload deadlines for on-time submittals
• Assist in field observation and other duties as needed
