Whitehaven Coal Limited is seeking experienced Dragline Operators for Blackwater Mine in Queensland. You will operate world-class draglines, execute dig plans, and work with a high-performing crew to deliver production safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring proven dragline experience (8050/8200/BE1370 or similar), strong safety practices, and clear communication to support a zero-harm culture at the site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large draglines (e.g., 8050, 8200, BE1370) in open-cut coal mining.
• Commitment to safe work practices and hazard awareness.
• Excellent communication and crew interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate draglines to meet production targets safely.
• Perform pre-start inspections and monitor machine performance.
• Collaborate with dozer operators, supervisors, dispatch teams and technical specialists.
• Contribute to maintaining a zero-harm safety culture.
