Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking motivated Graduate Engineers to join our structured program, rotating across business functions and projects across Australia and New Zealand.

You will gain hands-on experience in operational, financial, programming and administrative activities, working with experienced professionals while building your technical capability and stakeholder engagement skills. Travel and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, completed in 2025 or due for completion by end of 2026.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Hold current driver's licence and availability to commence in February 2027.
• Willingness to learn, an open mindset and a desire to build your professional career from the ground up.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals.
• A proactive, self motivated attitude with a commitment to ongoing development.

What We're Looking For
