Job summary

Synechron in Sydney is seeking a Dotnet Developer with Temporal workflow to build back-end ETL components and migrate data across legacy systems. You will extract data from SAS, Salesforce and SQL Server sources and push through batch files and APIs to CBA systems.

The role requires strong .NET Core / C# engineering and hands-on Temporal experience, with a track record in large-volume data migrations and data validation. Collaboration with BAs, testers and platform teams is essential.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Build back-end ETL components in .NET Core, with Temporal-orchestrated migration workflows


• Extract data from legacy sources (SAS, Salesforce, home-grown SQL Server) and load it into CBA systems through batch files and APIs


• Migrate customers, brokers, home loan accounts and statements, load data for Collections teams, and push documents to Documentum


• Build automated reconciliation to confirm all data is loaded correctly


• Support dry runs, cutover and go-live, working closely with BAs, testers and platform teams

Must-Have Skills

• Strong back-end engineering in .NET Core / C#


• Hands-on Temporal (or a similar workflow orchestration tool)


• Proven data migration / ETL delivery, ideally live, large-volume migrations


• Strong SQL Server skills and experience with batch and API integrations


• Solid data reconciliation and validation experience

Good-to-Have Skills

• Banking or home loan / lending experience


• Exposure to SAS, Salesforce or Documentum


• AWS, CI/CD and observability tooling
