ASSA ABLOY in Hendon, SA is seeking a Production Team Member to help manufacture timber and metal doors for commercial and residential projects. You will assemble components, operate saws and CNC equipment, read drawings, and maintain quality while working to hourly targets.

Qualificações

• Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment (factory, production, assembly, Install or fabrication).
• Door hardware installation skills highly regarded.
• Ability to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square.
• Reliable, team player, and able to work independently.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to follow WHS guidelines and wear PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and adjust components using hand and power tools
• Operate machinery such as Beam Saws, CNC Routers, Edge Banders, Brake Presses, Turrets, and Laser Cutters
• Fit components accurately based on job orders
• Read and interpret workshop drawings
• Fabricate profiles using bending and cutting machines
• Identify material types
• Work to hourly targets and KPIs
• Conduct quality checks on your own work
• Report defective goods
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Keep your work area clean and safe
