Job summary
dormakaba is seeking a hands-on Service Technician in Coolum to service, maintain and install door and gate systems across commercial, residential and industrial settings. You will work with experienced technicians and also operate independently to troubleshoot and complete on-site tasks.
The role includes a company vehicle, mobile phone, tablet and tools, plus accommodation or travel allowances when regional work is required.
Qualifications
- Mechanical mindset and confidence using hand and power tools.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to complete police clearance.
- Customer-focused approach with clear communication.
- Strong safety mindset with PPE and site procedures.
- Willingness to complete site training and travel across SEQ.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and troubleshoot door and gate equipment across commercial, residential and industrial settings.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and installations with panel and motor replacements.
- Provide on-site customer support, complete service reports and manage tools and stock.
- Work across Coolum service patch from Gympie to Bribie Island and join on-call roster after onboarding.
