Job summary

HenderCare in Canberra is recruiting a casual Domestic Assistant to help our clients live independently at home. You’ll perform basic domestic tasks with care and respect, visiting multiple clients each day with a reliable vehicle.

Ideal candidates have a current driver's licence, a National Police Check, and WWVP card, plus a willingness to support elderly and disabled clients in a compassionate, flexible team.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming

About The Role

In this casual role as a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for various domestic activities including:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning bathrooms and toilet
• Bed-making
• Dishwashing
• Laundry, ironing, hanging clothes out
• Assistance with meal preparation
• Unaccompanied shopping.
• Ensuring that service recipients' homes are kept in a clean, hygienic, and homely condition according to the individual's needs and wishes.

About You
