Job summary

Harbour At Home in NSW is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support older people in their own homes with everyday cleaning and household tasks.

You will work independently, building genuine relationships while providing friendly, reliable service and helping clients maintain a safe, comfortable home. A monthly paid 2-hour staff meeting and annual CPR/manual handling training are offered.

Qualifications

• Current driver licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• National criminal history/police check.
• Love for all things cleaning and a friendly, reliable approach.
• Genuine desire to support older people to live well at home.

Responsibilities

• General household cleaning and domestic assistance.

About The Role

As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll support older people in their own homes with the everyday cleaning and household tasks that help them maintain a safe, comfortable place to live.

Your day-to-day will be focused on practical domestic support, while also providing the friendly, reliable service our clients know and value. You’ll work independently in clients’ homes and build genuine relationships with the people you support.

Your responsibilities include:

• General household cleaning and domestic assistance
• Helping clients maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home
• Providing friendly and reliable support during each visit

You’re someone who enjoys helping others and takes genuine pride in creating a clean and comfortable home.

You’re reliable, friendly and comfortable working independently in clients’ homes. You bring a great customer service approach, enjoy getting to know the people you support and, importantly, love all things cleaning!
