Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group in Australia seeks a Domain Architect – AI to shape AI across Zurich ANZ. You will define architecture, capabilities and roadmaps to enable safe, scalable AI solutions and drive value for customers and the business.

Lead engineering teams, establish governance and security standards, and translate requirements into practical AI platforms. This hybrid role offers growth opportunities and a chance to influence enterprise-wide technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in architecture roles delivering target states, roadmaps, capability models and solution designs.
• Experience designing and delivering AI and machine learning solutions into production environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI-specific non-functional requirements, including scalability, resilience, observability and governance.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI development technologies such as Python, JavaScript and leading GenAI frameworks.
• Experience guiding engineers and technical leaders to deliver solutions aligned with architectural intent.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and modern integration patterns including APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve AI capabilities that support generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning at scale.
• Develop architecture roadmaps and target-state designs for Zurich’s AI platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams integrating AI into business solutions.
• Evaluate, select and govern AI technologies to support innovation and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:
