Job summary

Zurich Australia and New Zealand seeks a Domain Architect – AI to shape the enterprise AI strategy, define architecture, capabilities and roadmaps enabling AI solutions at scale across the organization.

You will lead engineering teams, govern AI technologies, and ensure alignment with governance, security and compliance standards while partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into value-driven AI outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in architecture roles delivering roadmaps and designs.
• Experience designing and delivering AI and machine learning solutions into production environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI-specific non-functional requirements, including scalability, resilience, observability and governance.
• Experience guiding engineers and technical leaders to deliver solutions aligned with architectural intent.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and modern integration patterns including APIs.

Responsibilities

• Defining and evolving AI capabilities that support generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning solutions at scale
• Developing architecture roadmaps and target-state designs for Zurich’s AI platforms and capabilities
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams integrating AI into business solutions
• Evaluating, selecting and governing AI technologies to support innovation and business outcomes
• Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions
• Driving best practice across AI architecture, security, data privacy, compliance and governance frameworks

In order to be successful, you will have the following:
