Job summary

Dogster, based in Sydney, seeks a dedicated walker to join our small-group dog-walking team. You’ll handle groups of up to four dogs, keep them safe and engaged, and travel between pickups and drop-offs across the area.

A Volkswagen Caddy van and fuel are supplied, along with equipment and treats to support daily activities. The role suits someone with an interest in dog training, able to work weekdays, and comfortable outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Exercising and socialising groups of up to 4 dogs in off-leash parks.
• Ensuring the safety and behaviour improvement of dogs while keeping them moving and having fun.
• Lots of driving to pick up and drop off dogs with efficient routing.
• Taking photos of the dogs in action and reporting back to the team.
• Communicating with the Dogster team and clients.

Job description

Dogster is based in Sydney'sEastern Suburbs and offersquality dog walking for small groups of a maximum of 4 dogs. For us, our job is more than just dog walking – it’s a way to live our passion of caring for dogs and to provide every client, every time with the very best for their dog.

We are currently a team of 5 andlooking for awalker to join us for approximately 30-38hours per week. Monday to Friday, hours range between 8am —4:30pm. Therole we are looking to fill might be interesting for a former vet nurse looking for a new challenge. People with dog training experience will also be highly regarded. We supply you with an automatic Volkswagen Caddy van, as well as petrol, equipment, treats, and everything you'll need!

This position consists of:

• Exercising and socialising groups of up to 4 dogs in off-leash dog parks
• Ensuring the safety of our dogs, as well as helping to improve their behaviour, while having fun interacting and keeping them moving
• Lots of driving to pick up and drop off dogs, and learning the most efficient and time effective routes
• Taking photos of the dogs in action and reporting back
• Communicating with the Dogster team as well as our clients
