Job summary

QSSS Pty Ltd, Caboolture, is seeking a gentle, kind-hearted Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a client living with a psychosocial disability. You will offer companionship, light domestic tasks, and help with community access, including appointments and outings, creating a calm and supportive environment.

Shifts run 7 days a week, 10am-2pm, with training and support from a dedicated Support Specialist and a Behavioural Support Practitioner to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience or confidence supporting individuals with mental health or psychosocial disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality support to our Clients as needed and in the way they want it delivered.
• Communicate effectively with Clients, team, and Support Specialist to meet needs.
• Follow instructions and respond to our Client’s needs.
• Provide ongoing support to Clients as required.
• Build rapport with a gentle, encouraging manner.
• Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
• Foster a respectful relationship with Clients to support their goals.
