• Special education qualification and/or experience teaching in a specialised setting.
• Level B Accreditation or commitment to gaining it within 5 years.
• Registered to teach with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

Responsibilities

• Support the needs of diverse learners in a mainstream setting.
• Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in nominated Key Learning Areas.
• Use assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
