Job description

Our Lady Star Of The Sea Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learner Diversity Teacher to join our supportive and vibrant school community. This is a part-time temporary teaching opportunity, commencing from Monday, 2 November 2026 until Thursday, 17 December 2026.

Specific Criteria
  • Skilled and appropriately experienced in teaching Learner Diversity
  • A deep commitment to safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and prioritising child safety
  • Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
  • Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
  • Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
  • Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
  • Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
  • Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
  • Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
