Summary

Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive? Good Samaritan Catholic College are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to lead and strengthen inclusive education practices within our primary school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to equity, student wellbeing, and high-quality teaching and learning outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.

• Location: Good Samaritan Catholic College - Bli Bli (P)
• Start date: January, 2027
• Work hours: 30.00 hours per week
• Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + 12.75% Super + DLL Allowance (DLL allowance will be based on school enrollments and proficiency experience)
• Status: Full Time Continuing

This is a permanent teaching appointment, with an initial appointment into the Diverse Learning Leader position including DLL Allowance, for a 3yrs period (January 2027 - December 2029). One subsequent three-year appointment with the DLL Allowance can be offered subject to satisfactory performance in the position and the ongoing existence of the position.

Good Samaritan Catholic College, located in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast, is a Prep to Year 12 institution that opened in 2019. The College has steadily grown and now accommodates approximately 1500 students. The first cohort of seniors graduated in 2024.

About the opportunity

As the Diverse Learning Leader, you will provide strategic leadership to support student engagement, learning, wellbeing, and achievement through the principles of inclusive education and a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. You will work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, students, and families to foster a culture where every learner is valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

In this position you will:

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of inclusive education practices across the school.
