Job summary

APG Workforce supports a major NSW transport organisation in the Dapto depot, coordinating district maintenance activities. The role focuses on planning, scoping and delivering preventative and corrective maintenance across station assets, while supervising contractors and maintaining WHS compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Trade Certificate in Building Trade, strong asset maintenance knowledge, and proven stakeholder management abilities, with a current driver licence.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in building trade and/or substantial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of asset maintenance processes and lifecycle requirements.
• Ability to interpret building codes, drawings and specs.
• Current driver licence; reside near Dapto.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and corrective facilities maintenance across the district.
• Inspect, report and coordinate repairs and maintenance requirements.
• Plan, scope and oversee maintenance works from initial requirement through to completion.
• Manage and direct contractors and service providers, including developing scopes of work and monitoring quality.
• Coordinate and allocate work to Asset Maintainers and contractors.
• Monitor work schedules, quality, budgets and maintenance outcomes.
• Investigate maintenance issues and recommend improvements to processes, productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records relating to maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, consultants and government agencies.
