Job summary

Norco is Australia’s oldest and largest dairy co-operative, proudly 100% Australian farmer-owned. We are seeking a casual team member for our Raleigh cold room distribution site to pack, load and deliver orders accurately and safely.

You will work across 3 shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with on-the-job training and opportunities to upskill and progress. Be part of a supportive team dedicated to keeping dairy products moving from farm to fridge.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for manual tasks in a cold-room environment.
• Hold a current forklift ticket and be comfortable operating in confined spaces.
• Strong focus on safety and WHS principles.
• Reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to follow procedures with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete order documentation.

• Pack, load and prepare orders for delivery.
• Ensure accuracy, safety and on-time processing in a busy cold-room distribution area.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner following procedures and using proper gear.

About the role:

We’re looking for an energetic and reliable team member to join our cold room distribution team at our busy milk manufacturing site inRaleigh.

In this Casual position you’ll help make sure our orders are packed, loaded and delivered accurately, safely and on time. You’ll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in doing a great job every day and you’ll play an important part in keeping our dairy products moving from farm to fridge.

We know how important work/life balance is and that this is different for everyone. We run our warehouse 24/7 over 3 shifts so we are confident we will be able to find the right fit for your lifestyle.

On-the-job training will be provided, and there are great opportunities to multi-skill and progress to higher grades for motivated team members.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Are physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks in a cold-room environment
• Hold a current forklift ticket and are confident operating in confined spaces (or willing to upskill)
• Have a strong focus on safety and understand WHS principles
• Are reliable and happy to work shift work (including weekends & public holidays)
• Can follow procedures accurately and work with minimal supervision
• Have good time management and can meet set deadlines
• Have basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete order documentation
• Take pride in your work, use good problem-solving skills, and make sound decisions

If successfully you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
