Job summary

Lactalis seeks a permanent full-time Warehouse Operator to join the Cool Room team in Forrestdale, WA. You will pick, palletise, label and dispatch orders, operate forklifts safely, and maintain stock integrity while following safety protocols.

You must be customer-focused, with forklift experience and good teamwork. Training new staff and adapting to changing hours may be required; strong communication is essential for the high-performing team.

Qualifications

• A current Forklift licence (required).
• Current and/or previous Warehouse Operator experience.
• Computer literacy including experience using Microsoft Office and computer based maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, palletise, label, and dispatch customer orders, ensuring timely truck loading/unloading in line with safety and production requirements.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, adhering to all site safety protocols.
• Maintain stock integrity through correct receiving, storage, recording, and issuing of goods in saleable condition.
• Ensure all orders and receipts are supported by accurate documentation and report any operational disruptions promptly.
• Uphold housekeeping and hygiene standards across work areas.
• Support team development by assisting in training new staff and performing other duties aligned with the role’s scope.

About The Opportunity

A permanent full time role exists within the Cool Room team in Forrestdale. You need to be customer focused and have experience in forklift operation. Experience in picking and packing of product to customer orders is advantageous. We are a close knit team, so effective communication skills and teamwork are a must.

To be considered for this position the following will be advantageous:
