Job summary

MinterEllison in Perth is seeking an experienced paralegal to join the Dispute Resolution and Insurance team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will support Partner Melissa Joyce and the broader team by handling a broad range of insurance and liability disputes.

You will prepare precedent documents, coordinate medico-legal assessments, briefs, and manage document lists with discoverable materials, while working across high-volume matters with a disciplined, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar paralegal role.
• Genuine interest in insurance and liability disputes.
• Excellent client service, responsiveness and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare precedent documents (letters, routine court and WorkCover documents) and settlement documents.
• Arrange medico-legal assessments and preparation of briefs.
• Prepare lists of discoverable documents and perform redactions/inspection.
• Summaries of documents and other team support tasks.
• Work across a variety of high-volume matters.
