Job summary

Edge Compounding Pharmacy in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Dispensary Technician to support the dispensary team. You will dispense compounding and non-compounding medicines, assist the pharmacist, and help manage stock and customer service.

The role involves handling patient enquiries, organizing records, and performing various compounding activities under supervision, while adhering to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as a Dispensary Technician
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Responsibilities

• Efficient and accurate dispensing of compounding and non compounding medicines including medicinal cannabis.
• Assist the Pharmacist within the dispensary.
• Dispensary stock management and replenishment
• General pharmacy duties and Customer Service as required.
• Assisting with enquires, either via phone or email, and refer customers to pharmacists at appropriate times
• Organizing customer files and other administrative tasks
• Assist with various compounding activities under the supervision of the Lab manager.
• Following standard operating procedures
