Ramsay Pharmacy in Albury is seeking a Dispensary Technician to support a qualified pharmacist in dispensing medications and processing prescriptions with precise attention to detail.

You’ll pack Webster-packs, manage stock, and maintain accurate electronic records while building strong relationships with patients and medical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

As the Dispensary Technician, you'll be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients & customers.

This role has a strong focus on dispensing, requiring exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Webster-Pack Management, accurately pack Webster-packs, organise incoming scripts, and liaise closely with doctors, carers, and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Dispensing medications accurately under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Managing dispensary stock levels, conducting inventory audits, and handling stock rotation
• Processing prescriptions and updating electronic pharmacy records with high attention to detail

About You

• Previous working experience in dispensing medications and packing Webster-packs. A Certificate II in Community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualifications are highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships with medical practitioners, carers, and patients.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment, and are engaged, flexible, and responsive
