Job summary

Metal-Tech Industries is seeking a Dispatch Assistant to join our Brisbane warehouse. This full-time role focuses on coordinating dispatch with production, stock accuracy, loading/unloading, deliveries, and general warehouse duties in a hands-on factory environment.

You will need a forklift licence, at least 2 years in a dispatch or warehousing role, and strong organisation, accuracy, and customer service skills to support our logistics team and ensure timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar dispatch, store or warehouse role.
• Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on factory environment.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and keen to continually improve systems.

About the role

This isn’t just a pick-and-pack job. As the Dispatch Assistant at Metal-Tech Industries', you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution activities. This full-time position is based in our Wacol, Queensland facility and involves managing the dispatch of goods, as well as general warehouse and store-keeping duties.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate with the factory team to ensure production schedules align with dispatch deadlines.

Loading and unloading of trucks and customer vehicles.
