Job summary

Nextt is seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide casual backfill support across the Bayside area. You’ll assist clients with daily living, community activities and medication support, while ensuring safe, respectful and consistent care.

The role focuses on supporting people with psychosocial disabilities to maintain independence and wellbeing, with shifts available from 9:00am–2:00pm and 5:00pm–10:00pm.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Experience with manual handling and medication assistance
• Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability is valued

About the role

• Manual handling
• Providing safe, respectful and consistent support
• Building positive relationships and encouraging independence

Roster Shifts are available across:

• 9:00am–2:00pm
• 5:00pm–10:00pm

What you’ll need

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Pay rates E3.1 Casual – In-Home & SIL | SCHADS Award

• Monday–Friday: $36.81/hr
• Afternoon: $40.49/hr
• Active Night: $41.23/hr
• Saturday: $51.54/hr
• Sunday: $66.26/hr
• Public Holiday: $80.99/hr
