Job summary

YouCare Disability Services in Sydney’s NSW region is seeking a compassionate, energetic female support worker to help participants in the Killara, Turramurra and Pennant Hills area. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is required beyond a passion for supporting communities.

You will assist with daily living, community access, transportation, and overnight care, ensuring safety and dignity. Essential checks include First Aid, NDIS clearance, WWCC, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate is required.
• NDIS Worker clearance check is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Bowel Care (or willingness to learn).
• Domestic Duties (e.g. light household chores, washing, meal preparation).
• Community Access (taking to appointments, accompanying her on outings, assisting in community participation and driving).
• Rehabilitation.
• Respite Support.
• Overnight Care.
• Shopping Duties.
• Transportation to appointments in own vehicle.

We are primarily located in Sydney, with participants across NSW and are looking for energetic, compassionate, and qualified people to join our team and make a difference. We provide full training for you to be able to deliver services to our participants, all you need is a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting communities.
