Job summary

Scope (Aust) in Wangaratta is opening a new service and seeking Permanent Part-Time Disability Support Workers (DDSO1/1Q). You will deliver person-centred support helping clients to achieve goals and live fulfilling lives within their community.

Shifts span mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleepovers, with roughly 25–45 hours per fortnight. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, VIC Driver’s licence, and International Police Check (if applicable) are

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• First Aid and CPR are required.
• VIC Driver’s licence is required.
• International Police Check may be required if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year in the last ten years.

Responsibilities

• Support a diverse range of customers living with physical disabilities.
• Provide person-centred support to empower clients to maintain independence.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal prep, medication support and behaviour support.
• Work independently and as part of a team across varied shifts, including sleepovers.
